We do things a little differently at our school. The Library is not just a place for books, it's a fun place for learning, reading, exploring, discovering, sharing, and having fun!
Each week we will read a story together and then we will participate in fun discovery centers that teach us different skills such as reading, writing, letter/number/shape recognition, fine and gross motor skills, technology skills, engineering skills, creativity, sharing and working together with others, and much more!
Check our blog often to find out what's happening in the Library!
This week we read "Froggy Goes to School" by Jonathan London. We shared stories about our first day of school and compared our experiences with Froggy's. Some classes also read "Please Play Safe!" by Margery Cuyler. We discussed "safe" and "sorry" ways to play outside on our new playground.
