This week in pre-school we learned how to keep those pesky crows away from the corn! We became "Dingle Dangle Scarecrows" and danced with our scarecrows on a stick. We listened to two scarecrow stories, "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" by Linda Williams and "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves" by Lucille Colandro. We built our own scarecrow when re-telling the story... we used some really BIG boots and pants to make a huge scarecrow! We had fun taking turns trying to scare away the crows from the corn.....BOO!
