This week we learned about Aesop's Fables. We talked about how a big, mean, loud lion could not be friends with a tiny, little, soft mouse. Boy were we surprised when we read the book and discovered that friends are friends no matter what their size!
We played a loud, soft game using rhythm sticks...it was fun to roar like a lion and bang the rhythm sticks loudly! In Kindergarten we went on a lion hunt using dice. As we rolled the dice we colored in the number and correct color of the mice and lions we saw on the safari.
